Mrs. Gust Koellmer, 77, of 1723 Broadway, passed away today at Memorial Hospital following a lingering illness. The deceased, nee Louise Kolb, was born May 31, 1872, in the town of Meeme, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Karl Kolb. She was married on Nov. 15, 1896, to Gust Koellmer, and the couple settled on a farm on the county line road near Edwards. They lived on their farm until 1946 when they moved to Sheboygan, making their home with a son, Walter. They celebrated their golden anniversary on Nov. 15, 1946.
Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Erma Reische of Sheboygan, and Mrs. Hilda Helman of Haven; one son, Walter, of Sheboygan; three sisters, Mrs. Mathilda Jost, Mrs. Amelia Klessig and Mrs. Bertha Vogel, all of Cleveland; two brothers, Charles of Sheboygan, and Herman of Sheboygan Falls; seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. One sister and eight brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at St. John's Evangelical and Reformed church in Schwartzwald. The Rev. William Schulz will officiate and burial will be made in the church cemetery.
