William Hahn Sr. Dies At Rockville After Heart Attack
William Hahn Sr., aged 77, died this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. F. Brueter of Rockville, of a heart attack. He had made his home with his daughter for the past seven years. The deceased was born on a farm in the town of Meeme on March 28, 1858. On Nov. 7, 1886, he was married to Miss Wilhelmina Papendick, also of the town of Meeme. The couple located on a farm near Schwartzwald and later lived at Ada for four years. In 1907 they moved to a farm east of Kiel where Mrs. Hahn passed away in 1916. Four children were born to the couple, one of whom, a son, died in his youth.
The survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Herman Jaschob of Suring, Wisconsin; Mrs. Fred Prueter of Rockville, Wis., and a son, William Hahn, Jr., of Black Creek, Wis.; five grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Herman Brass and Mrs. Louis Kuhn, both of the town of Herman, and Miss Christina Hahn of Edwards and three brothers, Carl of New London; Herman of Sheboygan, and Valentine of Edwards.
