Edward V. Even, 77, formerly of 1435 S. 14th St., died Sunday at Heritage Nursing Center, where he had been a resident for 7-12 years.
Mr. Even was born in Sheboygan, May 29, 1901, a son of Henry and Frances Ertl Even. He attended St. Peter Clave Catholic School.
He served in the U.S. Army from July 1942 to January 1943.
On July 24, 1943, he married Ella Schreiber, at Schwartzwald. She died in June 1970.
He was employed at the H.C. Prange Co. for about 20 years and then at Spiller Spring Co. for two years, until retirement in 1963.
Survivors are one brother, Wilbur of Milwaukee, and two sisters, Mrs. Selma Kristzonas of New Berlin and Mrs. Irene Walters of Milwaukee. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Burial will be in St. John United Church of Christ Cemetery, Schwartzwald.
There will be no services nor visitation at the Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home.
