RAYMOND H. ECKARDT

Raymond H. Eckardt, 74, of 6048 N. Shoreland Ave., Milwaukee, died today at Columbia Hospital in Milwaukee.
Born in the Town of Herman, Dec. 27, 1906, he was son of Louis and Emma Eckardt. He was married to the former Marcella Shultz also of Sheboygan County.
For 52 years he was funeral director, employed the past 15 years at Harder Funeral Service Inc. in Milwaukee. Prior to that he was with the Philip J. Weiss Inc. Funeral Service in Milwaukee. He also worked in Sheboygan for a time at the former Kroos Funeral Home.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. William (Suzette) Bartz of San Jose, Calif.; a son, Dr. Robert Eckardt of Milwaukee; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a brother, Alvin, of the Town of Herman.
The funeral will be Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Harder Funeral Home, 4217 W. Fond du Lac Ave., Milwaukee. Burial will be at St. John United Church of Christ Cemetery near Howards Grove on Saturday at 10 a.m.
A memorial fund has been established in Mr. Eckardt's name for Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Milwaukee.
