Mrs. Rose L. Brass, 78, of 4400 W. Missouri, Glendale, Ariz., died there Sunday.
The former Rose L. Habel was born July 7, 1904, in St. Joseph, Mich., a daughter of the late John and Lena Schneider Habel.
On Sept. 3, 1923, she married Theodore G. (Ted) Brass, also of St. Joseph. In 1945, the couple moved to Phoenix, Ariz., where they owned and operated the Cottonwood Swimming Pool until retiring in 1961. He died Dec. 16, 1977.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are tentatively planned for Friday afternoon at the Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. Burial will be in St. John United Church of Christ Cemetery, Schwartzwald.
Friends may call at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Friday. Time of services will be announced Wednesday.
A memorial fund has been established in Mrs. Brass' name for St. John UCC, Schwartzwald.
