THEODORE G. BRASS

Theodore G. Brass, 84, of 339 East Desert Park Lane, Phoenix, Ariz., died early Friday morning at the Phoenix Baptist Hospital following a brief illness
He was born April 10, 1893, in the Town of Herman, a son of Herman and Minnie Hahn Brass.
He attended the district school.
During World War I he served in the U.S. Navy.
In 1923 he moved to st. Joseph, Mich., where on Sept. 3 that year he married the former Rose L. Hael.
The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1973.
Mr. Brass was employed as a mechanic at the Messner Ford Garage in St. Joseph and for 10 years was proprietor of his on St. Joseph Auto Sales & Service. In 1945, the couple moved to Phoenix where he owned and operated the cottonwood Swimming Pool for 14 years, retiring in 1961.
He was a member of the Madison Baptist Church, Phoenix; St. Joseph Lodge 437, F & AM, and the St. Joseph American Legion Post.
Survivors include his wife and two sisters, Mrs. C. Juckem, and Mrs. Edward Ehlert both of Sheboygan.
Two sisters and a brother preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John United Church of Christ, Town of Herman, the Rev. Dean R. Miller, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Ballhorn Funeral Chapel from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
The Sheboygan Masonic Lodge 11, F & AM, will conduct memorial rites at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
A memorial fund has been established in Mr. Brass' name for St. John UCC.
