Mrs. Paulina Berg, 85, passed away Friday at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mrs. and Mrs. Arnold Mueller, town of Meeme. Nee Paulina Buscher, she was born Aug. 27, 1867, in the town of Herman, the daughter of the late Carl and Bertha Buscher. On Nov. 10, 1888, she was married to Herman Schreiber. The couple settled on a farm in the town of Herman where they lived until his death in May 1900. In May 1902, she was married to Charles Berg. The farmed for many years, then spent several years in Sheboygan and in Kiel. For the past 18 years she has made her home with her daughter. Mrs. Berg passed away in 1934.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lydia Mueller of town of Meeme, and Mrs. Arvin (Adela) Voss of Milwaukee; one son, Alvin, of Kiel; 10 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Theodore Schreiber and Miss Bertha Buscher, both of Sherwood, Mrs. Robert Luhman of Sheboygan, and Mrs. A. W. Hilker of Racine. One daughter, two brothers, and two sisters preceded her in death.
