Mrs. Sallie W. Betson, Poolesville, died Tuesday, April 16, at the Marylander Rest Home, Germantown. She was the wife of the late Harry C. Betson.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Charles Warfield, Frederick; three sons, Constant Betson, Frederick; Harry Betson, Poolesville; Robert Betson, Lucketts, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Bettie Carlisle, Dickerson; Mrs. Hattie Long, Washington, D.C.; one brother, Robert Fields, Silver Spring; two grandsons, Harry Ward Jr., Clayton Ward.

Friends may call at the Hilton Funeral Home, Barnesville, Thursday and Friday, April 18 and 19 from 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held Saturday, April 29 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Jeddie DeFries will officiate. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
