Mr. Arnold was a resident of Vallejo and American Canyon since 1947. He owned and operated Style Craft Upholstery for more than 30 years and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He served with the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1945 with the 7th Infantry Division in the Aleutians of the South Pacific. During his duty he received a Bronze Star and a Combat Infantry Badge.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Margaret Arnold, on Aug. 7, 2001.
