GRANT - Ervin "Fuzz" Harris, 72, of Grant died Aug. 11, 2007, at the Perkins County Community Hospital. He was born Dec. 14, 1936, in Chase County in the Blanche Community to Bert and Ruby Kidd Harris. He attended rural school before working for his father and neighbors with farming. Fuzz was married to Caroline "Corrine" Styskal on May 24, 1956, in Scottsbluff. They made their home in the Blanche area for a few years before moving to Grant in the early 1960s. Fuzz was a custom farmer for the rest of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; a sister; his wife who died in 1994; and a daughter, Tonia Jo. Mr. Harris is survived by his daughter, Ranee (Mike) Borowski of Kearney; his son, Doug (Vangie) Harris of North Platte; five grandchildren; two brothers; three sisters; and special friend, Patty Thompson of Imperial. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Grant United Methodist Church with Pastor Sally Ruggia-Haden officiating. Burial will be in the Grant Cemetery. Bullock-Long Funeral Home of Grant is in charge.
