SPRUIELL, JUANITA HERLIN Age 85, of Pell City, AL passed away Monday, Jan. 10, 2011. She was born Feb. 4, 1925, in the Avondale Mill village. Juanita graduated from Pell City High School in 1943. She first worked in the office of Avondale Mills in Pell City, later worked at the Anniston Ordnance in Bynum, AL and ended her career with the Social Security Administration in Birmingham. She was church pianist at Pell City Wesleyan Methodist Church for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roxie Patterson Spruiell and Preston Samuel Spruiell, Sr.; brothers, Edward and Preston Spruiell, Jr.; and beloved sister, Myrtle Jean Spruiell. Juanita was a precious "second mother" to her grateful and loving nieces and nephews. Others who remain here to celebrate her life include adored great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Pell City.
