"ANDERSON, Ind. — Maria Theresia Max, 80, of Anderson, passed away June 7, 2010, at her residence after a brief illness.

She was born July 29, 1929, in Dietfurt, Germany, the daughter of Wolfgang and Walburga (Hassfurter) Wiedenhofer. She had lived in Anderson since 1965.

She retired in 1992 from Sears & Roebuck after 19 years.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a volunteer with Saint John's Hospice.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert L. Max of Anderson; son, Gary (wife, Margie) Max of Campbellsville, Ky.; sister, Paula (husband, Herman) Burkett of Anderson; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Robert Williams officiating. Entombment will be in Maplewood Cemetery."

Note from Gabbi D: "Maria is no longer at Maplewood Cemetery. She was dis-entombed in July of 2011 and taken by her husband to Tennessee. I'm not aware of what cemetery she is in now, only that she is not here."
