Obituary of Irma Lee Reese
Irma Lee Reese, age 82, died Monday, October 26, 2009 in Forest Park, Ohio. She was born in Hancock County and was a longtime resident of Long Beach before moving to Cincinnati, OH following Katrina. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Izetta Ladner of Pass Christian; her husband, Charles D. Reese, I; a son Charles D. "Donnie" Reese, II; a daughter, Dianne White and an infant daughter, Sharon Reese; three brothers, Ferrall Ladner, Winton Ladner, Murthon Ladner; and a sister, Alfreda Monus.
Mrs. Reese is survived by a son, Warren Reese of Fairfield, Ohio, who will not be able to attend the service due to a serious illness; her siblings, Arnold "Pat" Ladner (Betty), Chlaford Ladner, all of Pass Christian, Sylvia Proctor (Myron) of Cincinnati, OH, Virnita Mountain of San Antonio, TX, Betty Ames of Denver, CO, Tecia Ladner (A.J.) of Mobile, AL, Janice Dedeaux (Billy) of Perkinston and Thelma Mulvihill (Dennis) of San Jose, CA; three granddaughters, Angela Marie August (Jeffrey Patrick), Laura Lea Kloc (Christopher James) and Cynthia Lynne Senior (David Vernon) and four great-grandchildren, Meghan, Victoria, Matthew, and Abigail.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, October 30, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach where friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the service. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
