Mrs. Mary Finke, nee Schneider, who died last Saturday at her home at Berger, was laid to rest Monday in St. John's Ev. Cemetery near Berger, after services by Rev. Dickbernd in St. John's Church. She reached the age of 92 years and 6 months. Deceased was born in 1841 at Jeffriesburg, Mo., and spent her girlhood at Washington, Mo., where she married Henry Finke in 1861. In 1874 the couple located on a farm at Berger, where in 1886 Mr. Finke preceded her in death. Mrs. Finke was a member of St. John's Ev. Church and a charter member of the Ladies Aid of that church. She is survived by her children -- Mrs. Elizabeth Zeugin of McKittrick, Wm. Finke of Buckner, Mo., Emil Finke of Poplar Bluff and Edward Finke of Berger; her sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Stumpe of Washington, twenty-three grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
