Angela Lea Adair, 41, died on Thursday October 21, 2010, at Decatur General Hospital.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, October 24, 2010, at 3 pm in the chapel of Elliott Funeral Home with Scott Webster officiating. Burial will follow in Moulton Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Adair was born on October 3, 1969, in Hartselle to Willie Ray and Anita Pruitt Hood. She had been a registered nurse for the past 15 years. Mrs. Adair was a graduate of Lawrence Co. High School and Calhoun Community College School of Nursing. She was a member of the Fairfield Church of Christ and an active member of the Speake School System PTO. Mrs. Adair was also a member of the Cherokee-Echota Indian Tribe of Alabama. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anita Pruitt Hood.
Mrs. Adair is survived by her husband, Wayne Adair; her children, Wyatt and Torie Adair, both of Danville; her father, Willie Ray Hood of Moulton; her sister, Kay Johnston and husband, Paul, of Keithville, LA; her brother, Bryan Hood and wife, Karen, of Moulton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tim Tucker, Danny Holland, Stephen Brewer, Riley Turner, Butch Wiley, Jason Adair and Lee Brewer.
Elliott Brown Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
