Jerome "Jerry" Kasdan, 95, of Louisville, died May 1, 2006. He was a partner in Mann Chemical Company. He was a member of Congregation Adath Jeshurun, the Philadelphia Masonic Lodge #125, Scottish Rite, Kosair Shrine Temple and an associate member of Hadassah. He also was a 1929 graduate of Male High School and a member of the Male High School Alumni Association.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Ruth Kasdan and his daughter Anne Epstein.
He is survived by: two sons, Frank Kasdan (Meryl) and John Kasdan (Rita Schooley) of Fairfax, Virginia; two brothers, Martin Z. Kasdan (Peggy) and Shelley B. Kasdan of Vista, California; grandchildren, Susan Epstein Garcia, Julie Epstein, David Epstein, Zach Kasdan, Sophie Kasdan and Arthur Kasdan; and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm Thursday at Herman Meyer & Son, 1338 Ellison Avenue with interment in Adath Jeshurun Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 12 noon on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Jerome and Ruth Kasdan Young Leadership Fund at Congregation Adath Jeshurun.
