Services for Harry "Lee" Laurance Fernald, 69, of Redding will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Redding.

Burial will be at White City National Cemetery in White City, Ore.

Mr. Fernald died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1993, at Mercy Medical Center in Redding.

Born Jan. 27, 1924, in Los Angeles, he moved to Shasta County in 1973 from San Diego.

He was an engineer for Pacific Telephone. He was a World War II captain in the U.S. Army Air Force and awarded the Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster.

Survivors include family and friends.
