Obituary
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 21, 2011 at a 1:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette, for Stanley J. "Paw" Boudreaux, age 85, who passed away peacefully at 5:15 PM, on Tuesday January 18, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.

Interment will be in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Scott.

Reverend Gilbert Dutel, Pastor of St. Edmond Catholic Church in Lafayette, will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Giftbearers will be Blair Boudreaux, Olivia Gautreaux, Kynlie Boudreaux, Kelsi Touchet and Hailey Grossie. Lectors will be Lindsay Boudreaux and Ashley Childress. Valerie Andrus, organist, will sing for the services, "Amazing Grace", "The Wind Beneath My Wings", "Isaiah 49" and "The Lord's Prayer".

Survivors include his two daughters, Linda Gautreaux and her husband Jessie and Sandy Grossie and her husband Keith; three sons, Carson Boudreaux and his wife Shirley, Layne Boudreaux and his wife Debbie and Shayne Boudreaux and his wife Belinda; his grandchildren, Ian Gautreaux and his wife Nicole, Ashley Childress and her husband Lawrence, Kendall Boudreaux and his wife Kellie, Kynan Boudreaux, Kyle Boudreaux and his wife, Niki, Kelly Grossie and his fiancee', Eugenie, Lindsay Boudreaux, Blair Boudreaux, Kisha Boudreaux and fiance' Buck and Nicholas Boudreaux; nine great grandchildren and one due at any time; his three brothers, Paul Boudreaux, Robert Boudreaux and John Boudreaux; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife,Vivian Sonnier Boudreaux; his parents, Eufre and Gussie Breaux Boudreaux; two sisters, Vergie Mendoza and Judy Stutes and his brothers, Wilson Boudreaux, Allen Boudreaux and Steven Boudreaux.

Born on July 16, 1925, Mr. Boudreaux was a native of Hackberry, Louisiana and was a resident of Scott, Louisiana. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend to all and will be dearly missed. Mr. Boudreaux was a veteran of military service and proudly served his country as a U. S. Navy Seebee. He worked for Southern Pacific Railroad, and he was also a carpenter, butcher and then retired from the City of Lafayette Utilities Department as a Line Foreman. Mr. Boudreaux loved cooking, spending time with his family and friends and loved going to the casino.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Ian Gautreaux, Kendall Boudreaux,Kynan Boudreaux, Kyle Boudreaux, Kelly Grossie and Nicholas Boudreaux.

Honorary Pallbearers will be his brothers, Robert Boudreaux and John Boudreaux.

Martin & Castille, downtown,330 St. Landry St., Lafayette, Louisiana was in charge of servies.
