Mrs. F. H. Abbott City Resident 65 Years, Dies
Mrs. F. H. Abbott, 94, died Wednesday at 9:15 p.m. in a local nursing care home. She had been a patient at the rest home for the past three years. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Carlock-Minnick Funeral Chapel with internment in the Sturdivant Cemetery.
Her previous address was Route 2, Box 183. She had lived at that address since 1901. Mrs. Abbott was born October 24, 1871 in Lowden, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1934. She had been a housewife all of her life.
Survivors are: three daughters, Miss Bessie Abbott, of Mineral Wells, Mrs. Alma Hudman, of San Angelo, and Mrs. Ann Jordan Withers, of Mineral Wells; two sons, Roger of Cleburne, and Roy, of Mineral Wells; two sisters, Mrs. Jimmie Malone of Lenoir City, Tennessee, and Mrs. Elda Smith, of Riverside, California; one brother, Ton Hill, of Lenoir City; thirteen grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. - obituary
