Joel Dressler, died at his residence, at Oriental, Feb. 23rd, aged 62 years, 3 months and 22 days.
Mr. Dressler served as a private in Co. G., 3rd Penna., Heavy Artillery, during the late war. He returned home afflicted with chronic diarrhea of which he suffered every since, and of which he finally died.
He was buried at Dressler’s church, followed by a large concourse of people to pay the last tribute of respect. Services were conducted by Rev. Bierly.
