Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Gale Anderson, with Mrs. George Hobbs presiding at the organ, Mrs. S.J. Emswiler sang, "No Night There" and "Beautiful Isle."
Seated with the family group were Mr. and Mrs. James Hubbard, Charles Davidson, Mr. and Mrs. George Hubbard, Mr. and Mrs. Lisle Hubbard, Mr. and Mrs. Nils Kalstrom, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Talkington, Vernon Hubbard, Loren Hubbard, Gerald Hubbard, Jay Hubbard, Mr. and Mrs. Orra Strain, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Brewer, Mrs. Ray Strain and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Strain.
Pallbearers were John and Ray Dworshak, Joe Cornish, Lawrence Peabody, Ed Sutton and J.H. Head, all six men being close neighbors of the late Mrs. Hubbard at her ranch home near Elgin. Remains were laid to rest in the family plot in the IOOF Cemetery.

Mrs. George Fredrickson received a telegram Thursday morning stating that her mother, Mrs. Mae Hubbard of Elgin, Montana had passed away in a hospital at Baker, Montana, Wednesday, Jan. 5, following a few days illness with pneumonia.
Mrs. Hubbard had been in failing health several years although her condition was not serious. She was stricken with pneumonia and immediately taken to the hospital where she passed away the following day. Mrs. Hubbard was 61 years of age.
She with her family lived in this community until 1910 when they moved to Montana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, nine years ago. Surviving relatives are, two daughters, Mrs. Faye Fredrickson, Winnetoon, Nebraska, Miss Frances Hubbard, Sioux Falls, S.D, three sons, George, Ekalaka, Montana, Vernon and Loren at home. Four grandchildren, two brothers, Charles and Lou Davidson and one sister, Mrs. Mattie (James) Davidson.
Mrs. Fredrickson is ill and was not able to go to Montana to attend her mother's funeral. Frances Hubbard at Sioux Falls, S.D. has been ill for some time and also was unable to attend the funeral.
