Videtich, Victor "Vic" M., 90, of Hesperia, away passed Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont, following a stroke in March and short illness with Parkinson's Disease. Vic was born July 20, 1915 at the family homestead in Hesperia to Anton and Frances (Bluth) Videtich and has been a lifelong resident of the Hesperia area. Vic was the salutatorian for Hesperia High School in 1934 and just recently recited his graduation speech. His devotion to his family and commitment to his Catholic faith will be remembered by his family and friends. He married Dolores Fritz on Jan. 5, 1974 at Christ The King Catholic Church in Hesperia and recently enjoyed gardening and playing cards with Dolores. He had enjoyed hunting and fishing with brothers and nephews and was a true Boston Red Sox fan and shared much enjoyment celebrating the Red Sox winning the 2004 World Series. He had worked at Norge for 24 years, became a security guard at Gerber Products Company for 10 years and operated the family dairy farm until his retirement. He was also a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Brunswick. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Dolores; his daughter, Marie Videtich of Hesperia; his sisters, Rose (John) Kent of Casnovia; Dorothy (Clarence) Patelski of Holton; his brother, Rudy (Ellen) Videtich of Muskegon; sister-in-laws, Kathleen Videtich of Kent City; Wanda Videtich of Muskegon; brother-in-law, Lloyd Schaub of Muskegon; many nieces and nephews. Vic was preceded in death by his parents, Anton and Frances; by his sisters, Frances, Mary Anne, Tillie, Helen and his brothers, Tony, Ralph, Frank, Leo, and Louis. Funeral Mass Services were Wednesday, Aug. 31, from the St. Michaels Catholic Church in Brunswick with Rev. Father Mike Alber presiding, with interment in the St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery. Friends may consider the St. Michaels Catholic School or Heartland Hospice - Fremont office for memorial contributions in memory of Vic.
