E. Delores 'Dee' Ellis, 85, Hollidaysburg, died Tues., Jan. 19, 2011 at The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg. She was born in Altoona to Harrison Morton & Martha (Lower) Malone. She married Charles 'Chic' Ellis, Jr., July 12, 1944, in Altoona and he died March 27, 1992. Survived by son, Stephen C. & wife, Janet, of Altoona; and grandson, Charles Nash, of Irwin. Predeceased by daughter, Harriet (Ellis) Nash; son-in-law, John Nash; and sister, Martha Jane Loose. Dee was a 1943 graduate of Altoona High School. She retired from Bell Telephone Co. after 22 years of service. She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church; Order of the Eastern Star, Delphi Chapter; Jobel Court and Bell Telephone Pioneers. E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home, Broad Ave., Altoona. Interment, Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
