Flossie (Barton) Hall, 97 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Monday afternoon January 17, 2011 at the Eldon Nursing & Rehab in Eldon, Missouri. On October 11, 1913 she was born in Hoecker, Missouri to the late Louis Andrew and Amyee Arizona (Barnhart) Barton. On March 24, 1934 she was married in Capps, Missouri to James Howard Hall who preceded her in death on August 12, 1991.
Survivors include: sons, Ronald Howard Hall of Center, Missouri and James William Hall of Iberia; daughters, Wanda Lee Chandler of St. Charles, Amy Donnavee Henley of Eldon, Glenna Fern Gardner of Eldon, Alicia Pauline Atwell of Eldon, Patricia Diane Blankenship of Tuscumbia, and Kathryn Ellen Albertson of Eldon; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and two grandchildren, Troy and Tawnya Albertson.
She was a member of the Humphrey's Creek Christian Church. She moved to Eldon in 1988 from a farm near St. Elizabeth where she loved for forty-three years. She enjoyed making clothes for her children.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 19, 2011 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, Missouri. Funeral Service will be on Thursday January 20, 2011 at 11:00 AM also at Phillips Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Foley officiating. Interment will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
