Dr. Cousens is survived by his wife Emma Augusta Anderson Cousens, sons George C., William and daughter Olive, and several grandchildren. Dr. Cousens was a 1891 graduate of the University of Toronto. Dr. Cousens inaugurated an oxgen technique for the treatment of influenza during World War I. Dr. Cousens practiced medicine in his private hospital in Waltham, Massachusetts for over 50 years.
