Felix Brakefield, 76 died in a local nursing home Saturday night.
Funeral services were held in the Hixson Brothers Chapel Sunday with the Revs. R. L. Ross and O. C. Clark officiating, with iterment in Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.
He is survived by two sons, Clarence Brakefield, Monroe and Everett Brakefield, Shreveport; one daughter Margaret Spataro, Bossier City; one brother, R. W. Brakefield, West Monroe.
