Thomas D. Whitehead departed this life at 2 o'clock this morning after a long and painful illness of heart disease. Funeral services will be held at the residence on North School Street at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning and the interment will be at Evergreen cemetery. Mr. Whitehead was about 70 years of age and nearly all of his life was spent in Washington county. He was esteemed as an honorable man and a good citizen and a host of friends will share his family's grief over his departure. He leaves a widow and several children.
