Mary Elizabeth Winn Holtz, beloved aunt, age 88, of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 12, 2011 at Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center with her devoted niece, Susan Shea, by her side. Born in Stratford on November 2, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Gordon Linton and Hattie May Crawford Winn. She was employed at Data Products in Wallingford before her retirement. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Earl Holtz, two sisters, Nellie Deveny and Barbara Sorensen and a brother, Kenneth Winn. Survivors include 12 nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews as well as a brother-in-law Gerald Sorensen of Huntington. The family would like to thank all the shifts on the second floor of Lord Chamberlain, for their excellent care for their aunt. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 10 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 11a.m. in Stratford United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Lakeview Ceme tery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
