Aaron Holben died Wednesday, September 11, 1935, at his home at Hawthorn.

Mr. Holben, the son of Aaron and Catherine Neese Holben, was born May 9, 1857. He was married to Sara Reddinger, who died February 19, 1898. He later married Caroline Hartzell, who survives.

He also leaves five sons and three daughters:
C M Holben and T R Holben of Vandergrift, E E Holben of Hawthorn, A A Holben of Detroit, Michigan, J W Holben of Youngstown, Ohio, Mrs Carrie Radaker, Fairmount City, Mrs Sue Hartzell, Vandergrift and Mrs Marie Thompsdon, Cleveland, Ohio. Two sons preceded their father in death. Twenty seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive, as well as two brothers, W S Holben, Mudlic and Edward Holben, Calla, Ohio.

Mr. Holben was a member of the I O O F Lodge, Hawthorn.

Funeral services were held in the Evangelical Church, Mudlic Sunday, September 15, 1935 in charge of Rev. M V Kelly and Rev. A E Masters.

Burial under the direction of H H Sloan was made in the Mudlic Cemetery.
