KINGSPORT - Sue G. Arnold, 92, died Sunday, Dec, 31, 2006. Born in Gray, Tenn., she had resided in Kingsport for the past 40 years. Sue had worked at Holston Defense Corporation during World War II, then in Dobyns-Bennett High School's Activities Office for 17 years.

Mrs. Arnold was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, teaching the four- and five-year-old Sunday school class. She was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Arnold; parents, Zed L. and Chessie McCray Kitzmiller; sisters, Virginia Trusley and Ann Rupe; and brothers, Jerry Kitzmiller, Orville 'Dick' Kitzmiller, and Charles 'Buck' Kitzmiller.

Surviving are her sister, Mrs. Lloyd (Ruth) Booher; two sisters-in-law, Annabell Kitzmiller and Ruby Kitzmiller, all of Kingsport; several nieces and nephews,; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport, or any time at the home of her sister, Ruth Booher.

Services will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with Dr. Frank Crawford officiating. The body will be at the church one hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Louis Booher, Richard Kitzmiller, Kenneth Rupe, Dale Rupe, Wayne Olinger, Perry King, Bobby Sells, Coty Jones, Pat Loven and Robbie Thornburg. Great-nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.
