ARIZONA – There will be funeral services at noon Wednesday at the Tabernacle Baptist Church for Amy Marie Simmons, 55, who departed this life Sunday.
Ms. Simmons was born Jan. 12, 1952 in Youngstown, a daughter of Donald and Helen Jackson Simmons.
She enjoyed dancing and was a former member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Daniel Lenihan of Arizona; two sons, Donald and Anthony Simmons, both of Youngstown; daughters, Tina (Mark) Britt of Youngstown, Angela Simmons of Youngstown, Amy Simmons of Virginia and Chenelle Simmons of California; a brother, Maurice Simmons of Nevada; three sisters, Sandra (William) Terrell of Texas, and Allita Simmons and Brenda (Anthony) Adams, both of Youngstown; six grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call from 3 to 6 pm Tuesday at the J.E. Washington Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends Wednesday one hour prior to services at the church.
Interment will be in Belmont Park Cemetery.
