Bee was born on April 21, 1921 in Indianapolis, IN to Alonza and Deadema (Harrington) Hull. She is a graduate of Arsenal Tech High School and Indiana Business College of Indianapolis, IN.
Bee is predeceased by her husband, Mervin Barkey, sister Eloise Molloy and brother Earl Hull.
She is survived by her sisters Waneta Hohlier and Laura DeWerter, son Charles H. (Marcia) Bracken, daughter Barbara J. (Charles) Hobbs, step-children Ray (Lynn) Barkey and Alma Messman, grandchildren Connie J. Hobbs, Scott M. and Jody Bracken, Ryan and Ashley Barkey, Melissa (Brian) Tyler and Jerry, Joannie, and Judy Hobbs, three great grandchildren and beloved nieces and nephews.
She was the secretary to Rev. Robert Stewart from 1955 to 1960 at the Orchard Park Presbyterian Church. Bee was a long time REALTOR® with Sherman D. Wilson and Harold Kaiser and retired in 1972. Bee was a member of Orchard Park Presbyterian Church and member and past President of World War II P.O.W. Club of Indianapolis.
