STANISLAV – David John, 27, Lewisburg, TN, formerly of Patton, died Fri., Jan. 14, 2011. Born Oct. 22, 1983, in Johnstown to Patricia (Yahner) Petrunak Hatch, Altoona, and John Stanislav, Johnstown. Survived by parents; step mother, Darlene Stanislav; step father John Hatch; his wife, Kailey (Alvarez) Stanislav; and son, Steven Ray Stanislav; sisters: Shelia (Terry) Peak and Shauna (Darrell) Eversole; step brothers: Chip Hatch, Altoona; and Kevin Keefer, Windber; step sisters: Kali (Rich) Estright, Altoona; and Nicole and Amber Keefer, both of Johnstown; and extended family. David attended Cambria Heights and Central Cambria high schools, with the Class of 2001. He served with the U.S. Army from 2004 to 2007 as a SPC E04. He loved music and was an accomplished guitar player who made frequent appearances with the band 'Who's Your Daddy' as 'Dynamite Dave.' Stevens Funeral Home, Patton. Interment with military rites, Grandview Cemetery, Westmont.

Johnstown Tribune-Democrat, Mon., 1/17/11David John Stanislav, 27, Lewisburg, Tenn., formerly of Patton, went to be with the Lord Friday.

He was born in Johnstown, son of John Stanislav of Johnstown and Patricia (Yahner) Petrunak Hatch of Altoona.

In addition to his parents, he will be sadly missed by his stepmother, Darlene Stanislav; his stepfather, John Hatch; his wife, Kailey (Alvarez) Stanislav; and his son, Steven Ray Stanislav.

He also will be sadly missed by his sisters: Shelia (Terry) Peak and Shauna (Darrell) Eversole; stepbrothers: Chip Hatch of Altoona and Kevin Keefer of Windber; stepsisters: Kali (Rich) Estright of Altoona and Nicole and Amber Keefer, both of Johnstown; a special aunt and uncle, Cathi and Gene Sweeny; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

David attended Cambria Heights and Central Cambria high schools with the class of 2001. He served with the U.S. Army from 2004-07 as a specialist E04. He loved music and was a very accomplished guitar player who made frequent appearances with the band "Who's Your Daddy" as "Dynamite Dave."

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to the noon funeral service Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, at Stevens Funeral Home Inc., 1004 N. Fifth Ave., Patton (www.stevensfh.com), by Benedictine Fathers. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery, Westmont. Full military rites will be accorded by John White VFW Post 779 and Walter McCoy American Legion Post 614.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the family.
