11, of Springfield died at 7:45 p.m. Friday at her residence.
She was born Jan. 25, 1980, in Springfield, the daughter of John and Helen Dobson III. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Martha Michels and John J. Dobson, Jr.
Miss Dobson was a fifth-grade honor roll student and was a member of the volleyball team and band at Christian Elementary School. She was a member of Lincoln Heritage soccer league "Stingers," Khouri League softball team "Den Chili Parlor," and a member of the West Side Christian Church, where she was active in the youth group.
Surviving are her parents, John and Helen Dobson III of Springfield; grandmother, Phyllis Dobson of South Bend, Ind.; three sisters, Michelle, Teresa and Janelle Dobson, all of Springfield; one uncle, two aunts and four cousins.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Vaughn Beeman officiating. Entombment will be in Oak Ridge Mausoleum.
