Funeral services for Freda I. Morse, 52, of Pollock, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday March 26, 2010 from the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Jena with Bro. Sammy Morrow and Bro. James Carson officiating. Interment will follow at Lincecum Cemetery in Georgetown. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Freda was born April 29, 1957 to Billy and Fay Thompson Morse in Odessa, Texas and she passed from this life on March 24, 2010 at the Golden Age Nursing Home in Jena.
She was a member of Lincecum Baptist Church and she loved animals and children.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Morse and Mr. and Mrs. L.L. Thompson.
Survivors include her parents Billy and Fay Thompson Morse; brother: David L. Morse; special friend: Sharon Carey; host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
