Charlsie Teresa Clark Armstrong, 80, of Gustine, died Jan. 31 at her home. Services were set for 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, in the Hall and Chaney Chapel in Comanche with Rev. Ronnie Calcote officiating, followed by interment in the Union Cemetery in Gustine.

Mrs. Armstrong was born Jan. 31, 1915, in DeLeon, the daughter of the late Willis and Charlsie T. Hilton Clark. She was married to S. B. Armstrong Dec. 20, 1947. in Abilene. She was a homemaker and a resident of Gustine for 29 years, moving from DeLeon. She was a nursery worker in DeLeon and Gustine churches.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Doris Bates, two sons, Richard Armstrong and Robert Armstrong; a sister, Ann Wall; a brother Harold Clark; six grandchildren, Sammie Jo Armstrong, Delyn Hutchins, Kimberly Rice, Bucky Isbell, Jason Soloman and Michael David Armstrong; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren; Mary Jane Armstrong and Anthony Deon Soloman.

Pallbearers will be deacons of the First Baptist Church in Gustine.

Memorials may be made to the Abilene State School or to a charity of choice.
