Elizabeth C. Turner, 94, Altoona, died Mon., Jan. 17, 2011 at Valley View Home. She was born in Altoona to Joseph & Cora May (Stahl) Mitchell. She married Edmund Howard Turner on June 21, 1934, in Winchester, VA and he died Feb. 9, 1972. Survived by sons: Paul R. & wife, Janet, of Oshkosh, WI and Robert M. & wife, Catherine, of Altoona; 4 grandchildren and 10 gr. grandchildren. Predeceased by sister, Helen M. Smith; brother, Claude R. Mitchell and an infant brother, Zane D. Mitchell. Elizabeth was a member of Grace Family Bible Church. She retired as a florist from Whitbred Florist. She enjoyed creating floral arrangements, reading and gardening. E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home, Altoona. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
