Mary P. Soileau

MAMOU-A wonderful, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and great-great-great –grandmother,and friend, Mary Soileau will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Mary died on Monday, January 17, 2011 at Savoy Medical Center. She was 94. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Mamou with Father Mark Melancon officiating. Rite of Committal will follow in the New St. Ann's Mausoleum.
Mary was a life-long resident of Mamou. The things that brought Mary the most joy in her life were being with her Grandchildren , family and friends.
Mary leaves behind a loving and grateful family including her loving daughter,Jessie Line S. Lafleur and husband Curtis of Mamou; five grandsons, James Lafleur, Ricky Lafleur and wifeWendy, Mark Lafleur and fiancé, Angie Mouton, Craig Lafleur, and Kirk Lafleur and wife, Rachel, all of Mamou. The family requests that visitation take place on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 from10:00 AM until time of services, at Ardoin Funeral Home in Mamou. Deacon Rodrick Perron will recite the rosary at 6:30 pm Wednesday.
