After the show's two year run, he appeared in the TV movie ‘Gidget Grows Up' in 1969. Throughout the 1970s he made numerous guest appearances in popular series including ‘The Streets of San Francisco,' ‘Battlestar Galactica,' and ‘Hart to Hart.'
