Mrs. Sallie Woodruff Weatherspoon, 83, of the100th block of Nicewood Drive, died Friday at her home.
She was born in Brunswick County.
She was a member of Hampton Church of Nazarene.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. June W. Manning of Newport News and Mrs. Betty Norwood of Raleigh, N.C.; three sons, Paul T. Weatherspoon, Albert M. Weatherspoon and Bobby L. Weatherspoon, all of Norfolk; 17 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Walter R. Mingledorff.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home and other times at the home of a son, Bobby Weatherspoon, 6247 Ball Ave., Norfolk.
