Winfred LaGay Ferges of Wittmann died March 9 at his home in Wittmann. He was 74.
Mr. Ferges was born July 29, 1920 in Liberty Hill, Texas. He had lived in Arizona for the past 24 years.
Mr. Ferges was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the VFW in Georgetown, Texas, for many years and enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include his wife Helen Joyce of Wittmann; sons Ronald D. of Phoenix, Frank E. of Austin, Texas, Jeffory L. of Austin and Ace W. of Potosi, Mo.; daughter Rhonda Ferges of Tucson; and four grandchildren.
Services were held March 15 at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix. Officials of the Disabled American Veterans officiated.
Brown's Wickenburg Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
