Elbridge was the eldest son of George Bell Lee and Anna Wheelock Proctor who married on March 25, 1827 in Windsor, Vermont.
Elbridge Lee was born on or about January 23, 1829 according to family records. He was 36 years of age at the time of his death at the Siege of Richmond.
