She was born Oct. 27, 1955 in Kenilworth, to Antonio "Joe" Salazar and Rachel Vigil.
Rachel enjoyed collecting antiques and working on her arts and crafts. She loved the outdoors, animals and especially her cat, Patches.
She will be dearly missed by family and many dear friends.
Survived by son, Kent C. Mills, Price; daughter, Mary Jo Laws, Price; granddaughters, MiKell and Hailey Mills, Price; father, Antonio J. Salazar, Wellington; sister, Lori Mutz, Durango, Colo.; brothers, James Salazar, Grand Junction, Colo.; Joseph Salazar, Ogden; and many loving uncles, aunts and cousins. Preceded in death by mother, Rachel; brother, Claude Salazar; and sister, Helen Salazar.
Funeral service will be Friday, March 26, 10 a.m., at Mitchell Funeral Home. Vigil service, Thursday evening, 6 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell's Thursday and Friday one hour prior to services. Interment, Price City Cemetery.
