Mr. McSwain passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Dec. 1, 1931, in Cullman and worked 25 years at Judkins Real Estate at Dodge City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Martha Freeman McSwain; sister, Valene; 3 brothers, Verlon McSwain, Evon McSwain and Duel McSwain; brother-in-law, Malcolm "Shorty" Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Welch McSwain; 2 daughters, Joan (Jerry) Lynn and Nina (Billy) Judkins Harvison; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn, Jason (Michelle) Lynn, Jani (Adam) Lambert, Trent Judkins and Clay Judkins; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Veola (J.B.) Cordes and Ilavee Brown; brother-in-law, Tracey (Gwen) Welch; 4 sisters-in-law, Myrle McSwain, Jereldean McSwain, Allie McSwain-Cordes and Eunice (O'Neal) Shelton; nieces and nephews.
