Teleni was a daughter of Richard Johnston and Rebecca Little (1814-1852). She married January 13, 1856 to Henry James Arnold and was the mother of Williard Virgil, Benjamin Franklin, James Alexander, Wesley Armstrong, Albert LeRoy, Andrew Johnston, Jesse Amziah, Mary Jane (McClelland), Ernest Beverage and an unnamed son. A note in her Bible says, "Teleni left her house on the Hill about 1907 and lived with Mary Jane at Piedmont."
