Married Arcel'ie Forand and celebrated 50th wedding anniversary on May 12, 1946.
S/O Moise and Arzillie (Quentin) Potvin.
One of 17 children.
During his working career, he was an insurance man, store clerk, loom fixer, song writer, sign painter, portrait painter, carpenter, violin maker, publisher and furniture repairer.
Creator of "Hobbyland", a unique collection of animated wood carvings exhibited in many parts of the US and Canada. Some of his most famouse tableaux included "Home Sweet Home", "The Village Smith" and reproductions of a Canadian farm homestead and Irish village.
It was exhibited in more than 100 American cities and exhibited in Canada for more than four years.
