Bessie Belle Ginkens was born 18 Jan 1886 in Fairfield, Jefferson, and died 07 Jul 1969 in Minatare, Scott's Bluff, Nebraska. She was the daughter of Henry Austin Ginkens and Martha Alice Watson. She married Samuel Lewis Bear 15 May 1910. After her marriage, Samuel and Bessie homesteaded for two years in South Dakota, then returned to Iowa where they farmed for the rest of their life.



Burial: Crossroads Cemetery, Johns Appanoose, Iowa
Residence: Walnut, Wayne, Iowa (1900); Johns, Appanoose, Iowa (1920, 1930); Minatare, Scotts Bluff, Nebraska (last residence).
