Donna Rae Childress of Sand Springs passed away Sunday April 11, 2010 at the age of 64. She was born October 5, 1945 in Tulsa to Bob and Betty Christian. She was employed by Sun Oil for fifteen years where she was a computer programmer and most recently at Sally Beauty Supply where she worked later in life.
She is preceded in death by her father, Bob Christian.
She is survived by her husband Sam of the home; children, Shelly Legrande and her husband Tony, Shelia Bergner and her husband Chris; grandchildren, Shelby Legrand, Shelton Legrand; mother Betty Adams; brother, Bobby Christian and wife Cindy; sisters, Jeannie Gilbert and her husband Harold, Shirley Richburg; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday April 14, 2010 2:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Marcia Howland officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Cemetery. Pallbearers are A.B. Guinn, Sam Guinn, Jeremy Christian, Jimmy Christian, Carl Richburg, Darren Richburg and Tommy Gilbert. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
