Helen Windsor, age 93, of Yukon passed away Thursday Jan 13, 2011, at her home. She was born Jan. 7, 1918 in Belleville, IL and had been living in the Yukon area since 1999. Helen had loved being a homemaker all of her life. Her biggest interest was being a loving mother to her family. She also enjoyed sewing, embroidery, and was a collector of many things. Everyone, including her recent caregivers, always mentioned how sweet & pleasant Helen was. She was preceded in death by her husbands George Weidler Sr., Walter Klein, & Roy Whetsell, and her sons George Jr. & Charles Weidler. Survivors include her husband Virgil Windsor of the home, daughters Jean Cherry & husband Robert of Yukon, & Carolyn Orf & husband Thomas of Wentzville, MO, step-children Pam Shaklet & husband Fred, Edward Windsor & wife Jane, Donald Windsor & wife Kathy, Roger Windsor, and numerous other step-children, her numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, and her beloved dogs Prissy & Duckie.
