John F. Agnew, 82, of New Cumberland, died Sunday in Bethany Village, Lower Allen Twp.
He was the former owner-operator of West Shore Hardware and Agnew Locksmith, both of New Cumberland; a former sales representative for True Temper Hardware; a member of Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church, New Cumberland; West Shore Lodge 681 F&AM, Camp Hill; Harrisburg Consistory; Zembo Temple, Harrisburg; Carlisle Country Club; and a member and former board member of West Shore Rotary Club.
Surviving are his wife, Alice Heard Agnew; a daughter, Adrienne A. Madsen, of Aalborg, Denmark; a son, Robert A. of Chicago; a sister, Winifred A. Mitchell of Mesa, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in his church. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday in his church.
Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland, has charge of arrangements.
